Human food and nutrition represent major challenges for epidemiology and public health. The interactions between nutrients and the environment, as well as between eating behaviours and health, are complex. During a seminar organised in Brussels, several researchers from Switzerland and Belgium will present the progress of their research in the fields of food, nutrition and public health. Fred Paccaud, president of the NRP 69 steering committee, is a member of the scientific committee of this seminar.
The discussions will firstly focus on technological innovations for research and actions in the fields of food and public health. The researchers will then exchange their views on food consumption in Belgium and Switzerland. The next day, the seminar will be devoted to food policies and regulations.
Registration is free and open until the 19th of November 2018.
